CASE INDEX: PWAN/MOMODU&MOMODU/2025/001/LAG
PUBLIC INTEREST PILLAR:
- Advertisement to the general public (including prospective retirees), using creative and colourful multimedia platforms, of a beach-side “estate” which was followed by collection from the named subscribers of the advertised sale price(s); “development” fees; “land survey fees”, legal and other sundry fees for five plots but without “allocation” of the five plots in the said beachside estate five years down the road.
- Promise to give the said subscribers/patrons of the said advertisement by PWAN new allocation of five plots in some other estate(s) owned by PWAN but with reduced dimensions as to land size, and in a different local government area contrary to the contract of sale.
- Demand that the said subscribers/patrons of the advertised PWAN land – now retiree(s) and with competing personal challenges communicated to PWAN – pay new “development” levy as condition to be allocated the smaller dimension of land (contrary to the contract of sale) in a place far away and without the natural amenities of the beachside estate advertised five years before.
