FEDERAL HIGH COURT (ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION) RULES, 2018

(1)     The objectives of these Rules are to –

(a)     enhance access to justice by providing alternative mechanisms to supplement litigation in the resolution of disputes;

(b)     minimize frustration and delays in justice delivery by providing a standard procedural framework for the fair and efficient settlement of disputes through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms;

(c)     provide for a focal point for the promotion of ADR in the Court; and

(d)     promote the growth and effective functioning of the justice system through ADR mechanisms.
