These regulations shall apply to specimen of wildlife species listed in Appendix I, II or III to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES or the Convention) domesticated by the Endangered Species (Control of International Trade and Traffic ) Act, CAPE19, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 (the Act), (and shall include wildlife species included by the Convention after the coming into force of these Regulations) and also those listed in the Schedules I and II to the Act.
