THE CHILD RIGHTS ACT (ENFORCEMENT PROCEDURE) RULES 2015 OF THE FEDERAL HIGH COURT TERRITORY, NIGERIA
The Court shall constantly and conscientiously seek to give effect to the overriding objective of these Rules at every stage of child rights proceedings, especially whenever it exercises any power given it by these Rules or any other law or enactment, and whenever it applies or interprets any rule.
The best interest of a child shall be of paramount consideration in all actions or decisions of the Court and all proceedings shall be conducted in an atmosphere of understanding for the child to participate and express himself/herself freely.
