NIGERIA AND GLOBAL TREATIES/CONVENTIONS
Nigeria has acceded to or signed and then ratified/domesticated several multilateral or multinational treaties facilitated by the United Nations, UN or international agencies connected with the UN. This category is distinguishable from treaties facilitated by regional bodies like the African Union, AU, Economic Community of West African States and other multinational cooperation platforms like Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC.
