EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM

This Act amends the National Park Service Act No. 46 of 1999 in order that the Yankari Game Reserve with all its rights, interests, obligations and liabilities is .returned to the Bauchi State Government.

AN ACT TO AMEND THE NATIONAL PARK. SERVICE ACT NO. 461999 SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR THE RETURN OF THE YANKARI GAME RESERVE TO THE BAUCHI STATE GOVERNMENT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

The National Park Service Act (in this Act referred to as ”the Principal Act”) is amended as set out in this Act.
