LATEEF JAKANDE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY LAW

LAW NO. 1, 2025, LAWS OF LAGOS STATE OF NIGERIA

A Law to establish the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy, to provide for development and fostering of young persons for leadership purposes in Lagos State and for connected purposes.

THE LAGOS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY enacts as follows:

1.       Interpretation

In this Law, unless the context otherwise requires —

“Associate” means a person who is undergoing leadership training in the Academy;

“Fellow”‘ means a person who has successfully completed leadership training in the Academy;

“Governor” means the Governor of Lagos State;

“House” means Lagos State House of Assembly:

“Leadership Training” means programmes and curriculum of the Academy aimed at cultivating effective leaders who can inspire and guide teams, make informed decisions and contribute positively to the society; and

“State” means Lagos State of Nigeria.
