LAGOS STATE LANDS REGISTRATION LAW NO. 1 LAWS OF LAGOS STATE OF NIGERIA

A law to make provisions for the registration of title to land in Lagos State and for connected purposes

[COMMENCEMENT]                                               (21st January 2015)

1.      Registration of Market Association

From the commencement of this Law, every market association in any market in the  State must be registered in accordance with the provisions of this Law.

2.      Mode of Registration

(1)     A market association applying for registration under this Law may be formed  on the basis of commodities listed in Schedule 2 to this Law.

(2)     The Commissioner may by an Order published in the Gazette amend, vary or  add to the Schedule to this Law.
