Professor Chioma Kanu Agomo is a former Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State (2004-2008). She was the 1994-1995 Senior Fulbright Research Scholar (Southern University (A & M) Baton Rouge Louisina and Visiting Fulbright Specialist to Washington University School of Law in St Louis, Missouri, 2006. She is a veteran legal and policy strategist with specialist interests in Employment and Labour Relations; Insurance and Pensions; Social Security Law; Maternal/Reproductive Health and Gender Studies.

A graduate of Queen Mary College (now Queen Mary) University of London where she earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (1976), and Master of Laws (LLM) (1977), Chioma also holds multiple certificates from the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Turin, Italy and has written/developed academic/policy presentations at home and abroad, including a scholarly presentation before the American Society of International Law.
