THE LAGOS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY enacts as follows:

1.       Amendment to the Principal Law

The Lagos State University Law, 2004 referred to in this Law as the “Principal Law” is amended as follows:

2.       Amendment to Section 10

Section 10 (2) of the Principal Law is deleted and a new subsection (2) is inserted as follows:

“The Vice-Chancellor shall exercise general supervision of the University, in addition to any other functions conferred or imposed on him by this Law or any other enactments subject to the approval of Council.
