A LAW TO PROYIDE FOR TIIE ESTABLISHMENT OF LAGOS STATE FILM AND VIDEO CENSORS BOARD, TO REGULATE AND CONTROL CINEMATOGRAPTH AND SIMILAR EXHIBITIONS AND FOR CONNECTED PURPOSES
[Commencement] [18th August 2004]
THE LAGOS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY enacts as follows:
1. Establishment of Film and Video Censors’ Board
(1) There is established the Lagos State Film and Video Censors’ Board (referred to in this Law as “The Board”).
(2) The Board shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal.
(3) The Board may sue or be sued in its corporate name and may purchase, acquire, hold, dispose of any movable or immovable property.
