LAGOS STATE WATERFRONT AND TOURISM LAW

A LAW TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE LAGOS STATE WATERFRONT AND TOURISM DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND FOR CONNECTED PURPOSES

[Commencement]                                                           [11th June 2002]

THE LAGOS STATE HOUSE OF ASSENIBLY enacts as follows—

1.      Establishment of the Corporation

(1)     There is established a Corporation to be known as Lagos State Waterfront and Tourism Development Corporation (in this Law referred to as “the Corporation”).

(2)     The Corporation is a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal.

(3)     The Corporation may sue or be sued in its corporate name and be capable of holding, purchasing and otherwise acquiring and disposing of any property movable and immovable for the purpose of carrying out its functions under this Law.
