LOTTERIES LAW

A LAW ESTABLISHING THE LAGOS STATE LOTTERIES BOARD TO REGULATE LAGOS STATE LOTTERY, PUBLIC ON-LINE LOTTERIES AND FOR CONNECTED PURPOSES

[Amended by Lagos State Lotteries (Amendment) Law, No. 15 of 2008]

[Commencement]                                                 [21st July 2008]

PART A

1.      Establishment of Lagos State Lotteries Board

(1)     There is established a Board to be known as the Lagos State Lotteries Board

(2)     The Board will:

(a)     be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal;

(b)     have power to sue and be sued in its corporate name; and

(c)     be capable of purchasing, acquiring, holding and disposing of properly movable or immovable, for the purpose of carrying out its functions under this Law.
